    Fuel Pressure Sensor Go Bad?

    Hey gang,
I'm not having much luck in the ol' S5 forums and I'm sure this question qualifies to all B8/B8.5's (if not all direct injection fueled cars).

I have been experiencing inconsistent throttle response and acceleration. It is even more noticeable when my gas tank is 1/4 full or below.

Will a new fuel pressure rail sensor fix/help this issue?
Or even a replacement high pressure fuel pump?
I haven't received any "Check Engine Light" yet.

    What are your thoughts?

If the symptoms get worse as your gas decreases I would guess it to be your LPFP. But it's hard to say without any codes.
And an FYI... there are two fuel pressure sensors. One is attached to the HPFP that measures the low pressure side and another one under the SC for the high pressure side.
