Anyone install Audi logo puddle lights on their car??

I think these look really hot. Did anyone change their stock puddle lights with a logo one?
    Opinions??

Yep, have the RS lights. Many say ricer but I say F 'em. I like the lights and always get "oh, those are so cool!"
Keep the code for free replacement lenses because they tend to fade over time. I have seen some advertised with laser etched glass lenses but their Audi designs sucked.

EDIT: just went and looked on the Windfireauto site and they now have the forever lens and projector that doesn't fade and melt. No color though, only white projection. RS and S5 logos available.

I have the same. I alternate between the S5 logo and Audi Rings once they start to fade and blur. I too initially thought it might look "tacky" but I like them and have gotten nothing but compliments and "oh wow" reactions. Go for it!

How often would you say they fade away??

I REALLY want the "S5" logo, but if I have to replace them every month then I'll just buy the forever lens of the white rings

I got the rings for my Q5, and I put the DeAutoKey superbright LEDs in the S5. I really like the s5 logo too though, tough choice

I haven't noticed the lens fading yet its been a few months

Hard to say because it is gradual, definitely less than a year. Depends on how long you keep your doors open at a time, the LED heats up and begins to melt/fade the plastic lens.

I think it really all depends on how much the door is open. My drivers side RS logo is really faded and I just got a free replacement set. However, the passenger side door looks like new. I think the fading is accelerated if you leave the door open for prolonged periods of time, rather than just getting in/out of the car. Replacement logos are free from Windfireauto, you just pay shipping ($3-4 maybe).

I had the audi rings one from windfire and it was good but I switched to OEM ones, I'm not sure what models come with them but Audi makes them lol. It's just a plain white audi logo, no 3d looking image or anything. I think it looks better personally. I've had it for about a year and haven't noticed any fading or anything like that. I'm not sure what the part number is anymore but it's similar to this: https://parts.audiusa.com/p/Audi_201...G0052133A.html

they're all over the place. just search "Audi Puddle Lights"

I think this is the best one because it comes with lifetime logo chip replacement.. https://www.amazon.com/Wind-Fire-M00...+puddle+lights

but you can grab them for ~10-20 off ebay/aliexpress too.

I can't seem to find the item on amazon, but I googled Cogeek Audi license plate light and there might be a way to find it via that.

You guys got me just a little interested in the puddle lights and I found a set of S5 logo lights for a massive $5.78 on Ebay. This is less than the price of a beer at the ballpark, so why not. Well they are working great. On the passenger side light, I did have to remove the clear lens and turn the barrel 180 degrees, because the logo was upside down. This took all of 30 secs to do. Just to let you guys know the base on these are metal, not plastic. Got them from jaelautoparty , took a week to get here.

I bought mine from wind and fire. i really wanted to get the lifetime lenses and these guys seemed to be the only ones that had them other than the audi beam rings from OEM.

The primary disadvantage to the ones that fade out is that these only come in white (like the OEM ones).

Yes, mine are coming out for this reason. I have been tracking down the rattling noise and it turns out the ones I have both sides rattle like mad. The lenses are loose enough that the logos spin around randomly and change position during a drive.

I think the color ones are not visible to see during the day. but the Robrunkle's post above you seem like his non-fade/coke white ones are pretty visible during the day...

I have the color and it's terrible during the day, but absolutely stunning and mesmerizing at night. I have gotten so many compliments. I love them and wouldn't get the white ones personally unless I decide to get the Audi rings sometime in the future. https://parts.audiusa.com/images/par...0052133G_1.jpg
