Hey all! For starters, this is my first post so please let me know if I'm following the rules (or not!)

I've owned my B5 A4 1.8T (FWD, APU, Tiptronic, manufacturing date of Nov 2000) for a little while now, and I've now gotten to the point of making some bigger upgrades after spending about 2 years getting it to where it is as a daily driver (its my wife's car but I am the one who uses it the most, lol). So now it has come time for me to upgrade the suspension. I live in a country with bumpy suburban roads and loads of speed bumps, and for those reasons I don't want to have a too aggressive drop, maybe a 1"- 1,5" drop (like 35mm at the most). I'm on standard suspension and standard 16" wheels, maybe will bump up to the S4 17" Avus wheels in the future, but nothing too extreme for the reasons cited before. I normally use it to drive to work on the highway. At one point I tried Godspeed Traction-S springs on standard shocks (I currently have Meyle shocks), and the drop was just too much and had to get rid of them.

So, I've kind of narrowed it down to three options:
  1. H&R Sport cup kit
  2. Vogtland Junior Kit
  3. Bilstein B12 Pro Kit

Out of these, which would you recommend? Are there any other options? Any additional considerations when making the swap?

Thanks in advance!
