Same here, was a bit disappointed in the sub config because everything else about the rest of the system sounds very good. I guess on a positive note, its lightweight.

I've been listening to an 8" and 10" (connected through an Alpine MRVM500) this afternoon, and different music to determine which one is most complimentary. Definite weight gain in comparision though.

Coupe has it in the rear deck location (unchanged from B8)

That's too bad. I have never seen a sub in the rear parcel that didn't rattle.

I have to say, I really like the looks of the OEM wheels...been looking for something similar in an 18-20 lbs range for 18"...want lighter wheels for autox...do you know the weight of these OEM wheels?

Did this last night. Should have done it at the same time as the spring install.... Pain to remove factory bar, drop the exhaust (2 hangers up front and 2 brackets for the rear mufflers). Set to softer of the two settings first.

Thanks...that is exactly what I'll be doing. I'm using "Relentless Shine" in San Antonio.
Btw, the owner heavily advised to be very careful with the car for about 10-12 days after to give it time to fully cook/set...fair weather driving only. He doesn't have the full heat light treatment set up, which supposedly accelerates the full set process. While the surface is very hard and pretty cured after 3-5 days he feels strongly the extra days of curing is important.

Again...looks awesome...and thanks for taking the time to answer my questions.

Are you going to put a clear bra on as well? Still thinking about doing that...

No, I won't be doing a clear bra..but I will have to re-do the ceramic pro again since someone rammed into my car last night...

I'm bit devastated yet slightly relieved that mostly it's just a side bumper..

Still, I will be taking it to the audi repair shop for complete inspection before I re-do the ceramic coating.

I hope the insurance covers the coating process

I took it to a shop and did the paint correction package, and the ceramic pro gold package.

The gold package consists of;

4 layers of*Ceramic Pro 9H*on paintwork and trim
1 layer of Ceramic Pro Light on paintwork and trim
1 layer of Ceramic Pro Plastic on plastic exterior
1 layer of Ceramic Pro Wheel and Caliper on wheel faces
2 layer of Ceramic Pro Rain on windshield

Unfortunately i didn't take close-up photos...
I asked them to take photos for me instead as I wasn't there.

The process took about 3 days.

Oh no they are the standard US DOT inferior headlights without matrix and without dynamic turn signals.

I would have sworn those were EU lights. Looks very clean. How did you get rid of the amber reflectors? Unless my eyes are playing tricks, I do not see them in your pics.

Thanks! You have to remove the bumper cover, headlights, and then do the usual Audi treatment. No oven needed with the B9 though which is cool. Once you get the lights apart, just take the amber reflector out, it's already gloss black behind it. Someone, Vagcom, OBDeleven, needs to make it so we can turn off the US DOT Spec parking LEDs though. I guess it doesnt look bad, but it would be cool to have the option like in my last car (C7.5)
