Since the B9 A4 and S4 section has this thread as well as every other section on this forum LOL , why not make one for the A5/S5?

So guys, what did you do to your B9 A5/S5 today?

Please keep us updated on the subwoofer upgrade...

I was hoping there was something bigger than a 6 inch in there

Same here, was a bit disappointed in the sub config because everything else about the rest of the system sounds very good. I guess on a positive note, its lightweight.

I've been listening to an 8" and 10" (connected through an Alpine MRVM500) this afternoon, and different music to determine which one is most complimentary. Definite weight gain in comparision though.

That's too bad. I have never seen a sub in the rear parcel that didn't rattle.

    Beautiful!!

I just ordered an S5 SB in the same color. Wondering about doing a full blackout over time. However, I really like the silver wheels and trim. Are you keeping the silver?

Yes. It's growing on me. I don't trust wrap. OEM black grill is way overpriced plus install cost.

Did this last night. Should have done it at the same time as the spring install.... Pain to remove factory bar, drop the exhaust (2 hangers up front and 2 brackets for the rear mufflers). Set to softer of the two settings first.

I have to say, I really like the looks of the OEM wheels...been looking for something similar in an 18-20 lbs range for 18"...want lighter wheels for autox...do you know the weight of these OEM wheels?

Add a little spoiler and a racing stripe on the side and you basically have an RS5.

May I ask where did you get the rear lip spoiler from? I bought one from ECS tuning for my B8.5, its short on the side and am not 100% happy. Thanks.

Are those euro headlights (Don't see the amber reflectors)? If so, where did you source them?

Oh no they are the standard US DOT inferior headlights without matrix and without dynamic turn signals.

I would have sworn those were EU lights. Looks very clean. How did you get rid of the amber reflectors? Unless my eyes are playing tricks, I do not see them in your pics.

Thanks! You have to remove the bumper cover, headlights, and then do the usual Audi treatment. No oven needed with the B9 though which is cool. Once you get the lights apart, just take the amber reflector out, it's already gloss black behind it. Someone, Vagcom, OBDeleven, needs to make it so we can turn off the US DOT Spec parking LEDs though. I guess it doesnt look bad, but it would be cool to have the option like in my last car (C7.5)

Looks good! Also I hated the alu trim in my B8 A5 but kinda like it here. The carbon makes the whole interior look too dark IMO

Took off the rear A5, 2.0T and Quattro badges. I tried to spec it from the factory this way, but that option isn't available for US spec cars (it is for Euro spec tho).

    Looks much better now

The amber side markers are easy to de-activate with the OBD eleven. The only problem is it activates a fault code and turns on a lamp out indicator on the dash. I was able to clear the fault, not sure how long it will stay off.

Interesting - where in OBD11 were you able to do this? I couldn't find it in the app itself and thought I might need to order the latest VAGcom. So far, the only things I felt were useful are the ViM and the swedish turnsignals.

    Connect the OBD eleven
    go into: central electronics
    scroll down to: sidemarker_via_lcm
    de activate it

I was going to post a pic but I can't figure out how to do it on this forum.
Seems like I need to save my pics to a hosting site and then paste URLs is that right?
