Mine is an A5 Coupe, so it does have a shelf. I find that the lower door speakers are trying to produce to much bass and the sub is being washed out. Do any of you with the stock system have a separate sub control in the MMI?

Spending Holiday Break doing upgrades. I am swapping my wheels to some Momo Anzio’s. Swapping downpipe to RedStar. Swapping rear speaker with Kicker and putting in some Dynomat. Installing TPMS upgrade. Now I am waiting for Unitronics stage two with tcu.
Want to thank Mops for the hookup on the RedStar and advice on where to go next.
Want to thank VA-Guh for some assistance in taking off the stock downpipe.

Exhaust tips!

For anyone curious, it's the ECS 4" set. As expected, the inlet size doesn't match so the exhaust shop has to fabricate a small connection piece and just avoid the valve flaps. All in all expect around 2 hours for the labor due to the fab work and tip adjustments for fitment. I currently have the VPS pre muffler delete, so I'm loving this setup right now! I still may get a downpipe in the future, but for ~$600USD the VPS kit + tips combo is a hell of a nice budget setup if you want to keep factory valves and save that $$$ you didn't spend on the full AWE/Milltek/Etc system for other mods.

Its a Rhino Ramp. You can find them on amazon/walmart/home depot. The height is decent. It allows you to work on it but having a lift would be more ideal. we also had jack stands in the front to give more space.

They're Rhino Ramps. Clearance was good. This driveway has a downslope on the end so it allowed more space.

I like it so far too.. I thought it would be louder but it’s not. How is it after break-in, after the 800 miles? Did the tune make a difference? I’m currently not tuned yet. Planning on going with 034 tune.

Got both the tune and the exhaust done at the same time, so I would't really be able to say exactly how much the sound changed with the APR tune alone, but it definitely crackles and pops more in dynamic mode (and i'd say same as stock in comfort). I'd say after break-in, some of the more resonant frenquencies got toned down, if that makes any sense? At first it was quite resonant at 2.5k rpm, but now the loudness feels very consistent throughout the rev range.

The tune definitely made a massive difference in the power delivery though, lot more responsive and tons of torque. Shifts feel sharper too (although that might be the 034 trans insert too!)

thanks, yea i'm really liking them. got them off amazon, good prices and quality. search "2021 s5 carbon gear cover" and "audi red paddle extensions" or similar terms and you'll see some options.

the CF shifter cover is nice, decent carbon look, high gloss, and snaps right on, fitment is snug, i didnt even need to use the adhesive strips. and the paddle extensions are good quality and metal, nice anodized/metallic red finish. there's other finishes and options too.

yup that's the one i got. your one does look good though, the carbon fiber pattern on yours looks more authentic and 3d/has depth to it. this one is more of a flat pattern but it makes up for it with the high gloss finish and still looks good.

and the paddles look good, i guess if its real carbon that's a good price. my metal red ones were $27, on amazon also.

Replaced the (Non B&O) stock speakers with Audison 6.5P -- What a massive difference. Loving it.
The dayton audio tweeters in the rear are a little too bright, might have to swap those eventually.

Removed my Hyperdipped OEM rear diffuser and installed a new Maxton one. Love it so far. Can’t wait to see it out in the light!
Now just need to do something about the exhaust tips!

Installed the AWE intercooler. Sorry for the crappy pics. It was straight forward to install. The one complicated thing was when I installed the front retainer and crash bar back on, I lifted the retainer to make it align to the screw hole. This lifting up of the plastic front retainer pushed the hood higher than usual. It made the open hood light come on and wouldn’t go away. I finally remembered I had lifted it on one side higher than the other. I unscrewed the retainer and had someone help me push the retainer down and screw in again. It made the light go away. Other than that. It was easy and straight forward. The second pic shows the top of the retainer IMG_0398.jpg

I flashed to an EPL ECU and TCU stage 2 - a day or two after I ended up blowing off a charge pipe with all the extra boost and broke a sensor. Lucky it was an easy fix. Now all the pipes will be getting t-clamps, ha.

Had chrome delete done with black vinyl around the windows, and 50% tint placed on the windshield. That darkens the entire car and sets off the rest of the tint, I love it.

I’ll wash her tomorrow and post a pic so you guys can see tint and delete.

That's just the QuickJack rubber puck. I also bought the generics and quickly went back and bought the QJ ones. Much higher quality on the ones with the groove for the body pinch welds. The standard blocks aren't bad generic though.

And an addition, also did the auto brake hold button install.

Even if I said at some point that I would stop doing retrofits ( QQ2 was a big PITA ) I managed to convince myself to continue this time with HUD retrofit and since I had a new dash I decided to get it custom leather covered.
Besides that I instaler R8 buttons ( the AliExpress ones for S5 with valve controller ), new SUB and amp, wireless charger reteofit and also new dash ambient lights .
