I have been paying for apps one by one which I found to be WAY more expensive than just buying PRO to begin with. Anyway, I don't see an option for "Central Electronics" under either the 'My Car' screen or the "Apps" option, so I must be missign something.

Yes mine is the PRO version.
I will double check later (I'm at work now) to make sure that is the correct way to access it. I'm almost 100% certain it's correct.

Thanks for the update! I went ahead and ordered the "Pro" upgrade and found from the home screen, just click the bottom right corner of the app and it brings up the long coding section

Interesting though, even with the Pro version, they still make us pay for things like ViM and Scandanavian DRLs,and other settings on the "Apps" screen.

So I was able to update the setting on the sidemarker_via_lcm and while the sidemarker light is now off, I get a check engine code like you did. I cleared the check engine light but unfortunately it did come back on my car. I'll take a look at it again later to see if I can figure out why.

I had the piping, silicone connectors, and T bolt clamps laying around so wanted to try what seemed to work well on my B8 S5 4.2 I haven't driven enough yet but will go out this evening and tomorrow am to get some launches in and record some data points. Maybe a video. One thing I will say is that having had the open filter under the hood originally, that the turbo whistles and sounds coming out of the lower bumper are much more noticeable.

I took it to a shop and did the paint correction package, and the ceramic pro gold package.

The gold package consists of;

4 layers of*Ceramic Pro 9H*on paintwork and trim
1 layer of Ceramic Pro Light on paintwork and trim
1 layer of Ceramic Pro Plastic on plastic exterior
1 layer of Ceramic Pro Wheel and Caliper on wheel faces
2 layer of Ceramic Pro Rain on windshield

Unfortunately i didn't take close-up photos...
I asked them to take photos for me instead as I wasn't there.

The process took about 3 days.

Thanks...that is exactly what I'll be doing. I'm using "Relentless Shine" in San Antonio.
Btw, the owner heavily advised to be very careful with the car for about 10-12 days after to give it time to fully cook/set...fair weather driving only. He doesn't have the full heat light treatment set up, which supposedly accelerates the full set process. While the surface is very hard and pretty cured after 3-5 days he feels strongly the extra days of curing is important.

Again...looks awesome...and thanks for taking the time to answer my questions.

Are you going to put a clear bra on as well? Still thinking about doing that...

No, I won't be doing a clear bra..but I will have to re-do the ceramic pro again since someone rammed into my car last night...

I'm bit devastated yet slightly relieved that mostly it's just a side bumper..

Still, I will be taking it to the audi repair shop for complete inspection before I re-do the ceramic coating.









I hope the insurance covers the coating process

I'm still debating whether I should do the tinting or not.
It looks like S5 did come with a light tinting. I'm just not sure how darker I should go.

I received an email from the shop, and they said the coating is covered by the insurance.
They took photos and videos while working the coating process, so hopefully I'll use them if they ask for an evidence.

It was 400$.I wish I could have ordered black optics but now it looks pretty much the same. It makes night and day difference on these cars

No they do not remove the trim and the vinyl itself is not cheap so 400$ is fair I believe

Thanks guys been enjoying for the first day. But today after seeing it for the first time in sunlight found a scratch on the driver door that is deep so I have to return they might paint the door but I told them let me enjoy for a week and I will bring it back lol
