    4.2 chain rattle

    I still have à chain Rattle at cold start after the chain service and checkvalve replacement..what should i look now

    Did u replace the expensive af mechanical adjusters on the camshaft too?? They have a lobe on the inside of those that wear and cause over- advance timing issues. If I didn't replace them... time for rework unfortunately. It's common with vehicles over 100k miles.

    I dont have error codes ... Only the Rattle for 2-3 sec at cold start..

    Throw some lucas oil treatment in. Should help. I did that on my S4 and it went away
