The random things that had to happen for this to occur is ridiculous:
1. After searching for 2+ months, finally found a pristine 4k mi Suzuka from l.a. private seller for $60k off craigslist via AutoTempest CL search
2. My bank wouldn't do private sale for a car that had a lien so I searched for dealers & brokers to facilitate sale, all ultimately say no
3. Randomly found a VERY obscure listing for a Nardo Sport Edition in Ohio asking $76k and found local OH Broker to handle sale
4. Despite everyone on AZ saying to buy it, decided it was too much $$ for an interior I didn't like (red & black) BUT in a stroke of luck, the OH Broker said he could facilitate the l.a. sale!
**100% BUYING THE SUZUKA IN L.A. NOW** = 2 WEEKS AGO

5. Got everything in place to buy the Suzuka at full ask, but the seller kept delaying the required PPI
6. Seller says reason for delay was his replacement car was a special-order from Audi that got damaged in transit, with no back-up vehicle to drive in the meantime
7. As the Suzuka was only eligible for the factory extended warranty til early June, I need deal to go down ASAP so seller says he'll go shopping for new cars this weekend and IF he finds one locally, he'll buy it off the lot and still sell me his RS5
8. While praying for him to find a new car immediately, I find a picture-less brand new listing of an RS5 within 30min of it being posted - NARDO RS5 with Black interior!
**SAY WHAT? A NARDO RS5 WITH BLACK INTERIOR - LOW MILES, CLEAN, FOR SALE NOW?**

Within 30min of calling about it, viewing Carfax, Window stickers, pics, price all check out perfectly and I pull the trigger - fastest sale in that dealer's history lol I put a deposit down so it's held while the bank loan gets done but it's a 95%+ deal at this moment - so bizarre - I was literally trying my hardest to buy the Suzuka for the past 2 weeks and thanks only to a random car being damaged in transit, it looks like I'm winding up with the elusive Nardo. Fingers crossed...

Thanks! It wasn't a local Austin dealer but the Nardo is in a state I have a business registered and credit union account so if for any reason the dealer can't offer good financing, I can just fly in and do it through my credit union. There's a SOLD sticker on it as we speak but as I learned with the Suzuka deal, I'm not going to count it as done until I have it in hand.

Thanks man - don't quite have it yet but should soon! It's NOT that car as that one had the $9000 red and black sport edition interior and was $71k - this one has the standard black interior and cost tons less so it's best of both worlds for me.

The only thing that sucks is that it has the comfort seats but that's something that can be replaced if I hate them - they're ventilated though so living here in S Texas having cooled seats may be worth the trade-off in how donkey they look :)

Don't dismiss the comfort seats, they are an option I often wish I'd ticked. What they lack in support they more than make up for when summer kicks in and I can guarantee 90% of your driving won't need the little extra support the regular seats offer.

Congrats... I am happy for you that the car you have searched for has finally fallen into your lap!

I searched over 9 months for my Volcano Red S5 Cab... Just took delivery (from Texas) 2 weeks ago... Those comfort seats were great on the one very hot day and on the 3 very cool nights we were out cruising.

Took me ten days from agreement to wire transfer to transport pick up, another 5 days to arrive at my home. The wait was well worth it.

I'll update this thread when I finally get it and am sure will start 50 other threads with questions about other things as I discover it's features and mod it right - like for example, if I should do a paint correction upon getting it, then Xpel it etc
