    fuchs oil vs motul 5w40

    I'm up for a oil change and wanted to know which is the best of these brands, last oil change I use Motul is was great but my mechanic said Fuchs is the best for German engines is this true ?

    I can't say anything about Fuchs, but Motul is a name brand oil that has the VW certifications for our engines. The only bad thing I have to say about Motul is my last jug wouldn't extend the spout without the cap coming off. I will buy it again though.

    I'm running Motul now it's great just pricey.
    My mechanic told me about Fuchs he uses that is his 2015 SQ5 and he said it has the least detergent of all the others oil so it not going to cause carbon buildup. I'm going to give it a try I order it off Ecs ... I'll let you know
