    anybody want my PB5 DVs? They leaked like a bastard but I replaced the shitty gasket in them with a real one and they hold perfectly any psi. Been used for like 250 miles max I think. I had already ordered 034 ones but since I fixed these.... any takers?

    After the first few thousand miles Iím going to drain and replace the oil and filter. Motors been opened a few times and fucked around with since it was filled. Prob has some shit in it.

    Did some research and it looks like redline 5w-40 is by the best stuff we can shove in these cars from the specs/ lab tests Iíve read. The HTHS (high temp high shear) rating (higher is better) of Mobil 1 is 3.6. Liqui Moly is 3.5. Motul 8100 (which I currently run in both Audiís with a zinc additive) is 3.73. Redline is 4.4. Thatís excellent. It also has a high level of zinc additives that the epa made most oils reduce for emissions reasons.... but zinc is a great anti friction additive if you donít have cats. Itís also recommended at certain levels by Sean at SRM. $100 in oil for a B5. Mother fuck. But.... racecar.

    Ordered a Devils own meth pump and Do5 + D07 nozzle set to try out. I dont think my AEM one can push enough pressure to atomize properly at the volume I need. Also DEI heat wrapped the Y pipe and Bi pipes. Its ugly as sin but...racecar!

    Car is running really well though. Logged consistent FATs times in the low 3s. 3.09 :). We dialed it back just a touch until I dial in my meth set up a bit more and with that file I am running a consistent 3.2 in the middle of a warm day.

    Yep. 93 and meth. Stock block. Timing advance isnít much over 93 octane levels right now to protect my block. Ran 3.09 FATs. Prob about 500whp on a dynojet

    Also didnít know there was an AWD dyno in MA. Iíve been to EPL when they used to have dyno days but thatís a little more of a hike

    Thereís actually a few. Thereís two mustang ones. The seekonk place and sterling Ma. I took that really hot Friday off because it was so nice out so it was the only time I had time to go down there

    Knock wood but the car has never actually broken down on me. Itís never not made it home. The worst that happened was a mile from where I live I blew the TB boot off the throttle body because I wasnít using t bolt clamps. Fixed that. Drove it 200 miles to Maine, 100 miles boosting around back roads while up there and 200 back and not a CEL or code to be found.

    Letís play a game of keyboard mechanic:

    Symptoms:
    1. Sometimes long crank before it fires up
    2. Some misfires at idle
    3. Started running lean at WOT, pulling -5 degrees of timing, then I swapped a new MAF sensor in, and afr got much richer and timing pull seemed a bit better. But I just did a log and afr is good but itís still yanking up to -5.25. I know thatís not a ton but I prefer none.
    4. No gas smells, no CELs unless I let it idle for a while, then occasionally Iíll get one for misfires.
    5. Injectors are brand new ev14 630s, timing shit brand new, 2.0T coils, ever gasket is brand new, plugs are brand new bk7re at .026
    6. Running d07 nozzles and devils own meth kit. Boost juice.
    7. Pump is brand new Walbro 450
    8. New SRM K24s, 27psi

    Timing advance on the tune is not a bunch over 93. Itís not aggressive in that regard since the block is stock. Is there something that could cause false knock? Knock sensors? Could their be a weakness in the ignition system? Could something be reducing the effective octane of the gas?

    Iím gonna go with your Walbro 450 is starting to eat it. Even if itís new. I believe (donít quote me on it for sure being him) CELison had the same issue with a Walbro 450.

    It gets a touch lean the further toward the top I get in the Rpms at wot. I think either pump is tapping out or thereís a leak in the lines above the pump. It feels like thereís no rail pressure when I start the car after a while.

    My first 450 lasted about 2 weeks. Thank fuck for my wideband. Afr was close to 14:1 at WOT.

    I had some of these same issues Corbin, and it turned out to be a hole in the hose that connects the pump to the top hat in the tank. I was only able to find it after Brad advised me to pull the top hat and try to see into the tank during cranking. Fuel was spraying everywhere in the tank.

    I think the first one I got was a knock off. The second one is genuine. I may add another or go a different route though. Iím out of pump at 29psi with 1300cc injectors, billet rails, single 450 w/ direct power from the battery. E85 obviously.

    That is awhole lotta fuel!

    So the Walbro the real one has stood up to your build, and your considering getting a second to support more fueling.

    Thatís enough for me to lean towards picking one up myself...
