Well, I tried...

AWE Intake
Berk TCU

I launched and spun a bit. The 1-2 was fine and then I short shifted into third by accident. I rode third and at 90 MPH, the tire went flat so...I stayed in it. Now I'm out in the inky black darkness of nowhere with a three wheeled car. Called my buddy who bummed a ride and a jack. Thank whatever deity you believe in I had a jacking pad in the trunk and a properly inflated spare to go with it. Home is 100 miles away.

Anyway 12.097 @ 114.69 Mph with the screwup shift and burgeoning flat tire.

made a few good runs yesterday,

034 stage 2 dual pulley tune e40 and ported super charger


track temps were slightly warm at 75F ( my 11.99 single pulley run was ran on a 50F day in october and i allowed car to cool for a full hour this run was with no time for cooling for comparison)


11.2 @122 is best of today ( and this was a back to back run with 15 mins in staging lanes creeping up to line without propper foolong) IAT at end of this run was 78C wich is why it fell off up top. ifi icould keep iat even lower and launch with higher then 2600 rpm without spin it should break 10s!

according to draggy i pickup up 2mph in the 1/8th mile with the port. i dont have any 1/4 mile track time on the e40 no port

I miss the sound of my supercharger.

I think the best I got was a 11.8 on JHM Stage 2 with associated goodies according to dragy, but normally ran 12.1-2 in normal weather down here. I think I did that one night when it was 40 degrees, so you're in good shape.

I have a bunch of stuff I need to send you once I find a box big enough, or we can meet up half way or something. I need to clear the garage out so I can fab a turbo up for the corolla.

I need to look back through my dragy as soon as I can figure out what email I had it under, but I did 11.8 with that set up but single pulley. Did you have the baffles in the downpipes? Looking at them, they looked kind of restrictive and I couldn't tell they did much, but maybe that was just because my AWE exhaust was loud AF.

Thanks! DA helps a ton. No my setup is non baffled because our C7 catbacks don't need them. They are restrictive, but its not as critical with a supercharged car. Its not worse than a stock catback or cats etc.

true, I made some errors that result in the names and vehicle models not matching the times for some names. It's not done to make anyone look better or worse. I haven't had time to check my older file saves to see where things went wrong. Unfortunately STXA7 has a record of posting bad/false info all over the B8 S4 sub of the forum.
I'm not even sure why so much time is spent posting there when they don't own/drive anything on that platform honestly.

f1torrent are you good bro? I have to agree you're way off target on this one. Anyway, now that I'm here I'm curious about 1/4 mile times on the merc blower file. 10.79 is pretty on par with many IE/034 cars on ethanol stock blowers

SQ5's? You will have to look again, sorry for wasting your time on this read. on the S4 that would be slow as poop for sure. Hoping to get one more run at the track with the SQ5 to finish this up, but the weeks fill up so fast... Stay tuned!

Jackal’s Merc blower SQ5 missed the SQ5 record by like .03 seconds on its very first trip to the track and it was able to run 10 passes in 4 hours. Every run was well into the 10’s. I was there

I'm very well aware that there are differences between models such as transmission, weight, wheelbase length, and aero properties due to shape.
Feel free to share more slips/dragy and I'll be happy to add them. I wasn't able to find as many Jackal 1/4 mile times as I had hoped to.
This could be due to the places I am searching, and the fact that the tune hasn't been around as long as the others.

You have Fred Zimmer running 9.9 in a B8 Q5 when the best he ever ran was a 10.9. Only B9’s can run 9’s with stage 3 turbos.

You have Jorge running 10.5 in a B8 SQ5 when the best he ever ran was like an 11.3. There’s literally zero B8 SQ5’s running 10.5. None.

You aren’t the guy for keeping track of this. No offense. Everything you post is wrong or just crazy. Again no offense.

I think the main reason most people would use such a database is when tune shopping and deciding mods, so it should have different tabs or something by tuner too, so it would be easy to average out the runs or take the mode or something to get a better indicator of what people are running.

Of course, it will never allow for debauchery like spraying nitrous to boost your numbers, although the "tune market" isn't very transparent, you're buying a black box essentially unless you've got the equipment to read it, and you have tuners that will send less safe "hot tunes" to certain people or all people in an effort to boost their numbers, so averaging it out would help discern honest results from the padded ones.

Unless it's just names with numbers and it's a weenie measuring contest with tons of unverified information associated with it, but that's not my definition of truth.

Tuners lie, people lie, and and they both cheat too. Now, I would want my name lined up with my quarter time, and he needs to fix it. But if we're doing anything beyond weenie flinging with names and numbers in a spreadsheet (like trying to help people figure out what direction they should take) then by all means, carry on. But if we're trying to help folks, none of the spreadsheets really accomplish that, and that's the truth.

i just got a dragy and did a few runs. aiming for 12.00 flat or 11.99 just have to experiment with tire pressure and get the right cold weather in a week or two hopefully.
