    Question about Recaro seats swap

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I managed to pick up S4 B7 Recaro seats, I have installed the rears but I'm not sure what to do about the front passenger seat. They are going into my A4 B6 Avant and my passenger seat is manual unlike the Recaro which is power. How do I get power to the passenger seat to put the seat in a comfortable position before I install it? The track is all the way forward

Change the fuse in the passenger kick panel to a 30a and move it using the controls.

If you really want to move it prior to install, feed 12v to the red and brown thick wires from the red connector.

If you have hated or power lumbar in your original seats then all you gotta do is plug them in.there is a fuse in the passages right foot kick pane you will need to change from 10 to 30 amp. But you should still be able to move the seat before it blows.

    Looks great!

I just installed a full set myself in February. The only thing I have yet to do is order the passenger seat rail trim pieces. Since my passenger seat was manual to begin with, but heated, I just replaced that fuse with a 30A. The trim pieces are different for manual vs electric so that's on my to-do list. They seam cheap enough though.

I'm waiting for spring weather to do my interior makeover. Let's hope it's just another couple of weeks.

That explains why my passenger side seat rail trim didn't fit. I was able to trim and cut the pieces to fit. I would feel better with new trim pieces tho

There is only one 10A fuse behind the passenger side kick panel. Change it to 30A.
