    C7 A6 3.0TFSI Performance Upgrades

    Hi everyone,

I apologize for the noob question. I have a 2012 C7 A6 3.0TFSI, have had it for almost 4 months now.

I'm looking to do some performance mods in the near future. Like intake, exhaust, pulley, tune, etc.

Can anyone please explain the different stages of upgrade and what you need to do or have on the car for stage 1, stage 2 and so on ?

    Thanks !

Beautiful car! I am in the USA but afaik APR should be releasing ultracharger soon in Australia also. Anyway here is the list
Stage 1- engine remap (ecu flash) - add an aftermarket intake at this point itself
Stage 2 - Supercharger pulley + new map
Stage 2+ - overdrive pulley + upgraded cooling + downpipes + ultracharger + new map
Exhaust is pretty much your choice when you wanna go for it.

I went EPL and have been pretty happy.

    Stage 2 e85 gets me 0-60 in 3.9 and 0-100 in 8.9.

Dual pulley is going on today, can't wait to see what that will do.

I started out w/ the APR stage 1 and 3 months later I upgraded to stage 2. Not because I felt stage 1 was lacking. I was installing the RS6 grill and figured... While you're down there...

I'm really happy w/ the stage 2. It's a great upgrade for sure. Lots of pull
