Cheap 08 RS4 ti package

Hello guys, i have been checking out RS4s online for about 2 months now and i notice these cheap 08 ti pkg rs4 in New jersey has been on the lot for a long time. Im itching to pull the trigger on this one but i feel there's something is up with these car. The price for 90k miles is pretty cheap for its trim. In the link you can click on the carfax and it tells you that it has gone through some on time maintenance with 2 owners. Im wondering what is causing this car still not being sold.

Do you want to buy that particular car, or are you looking at several different 08's? That price seems inline given the miles, not cheap, and I'm guessing it hasn't sold because it's relatively high miles for the year, and it's not a broad market car.

No clue why it hasn't sold, but the last owner only owned it for a month per that CarFax- could obviously be nothing, but that's not typical.

I'd suggest getting a PPI from a knowledgable shop if you decide to move forward.

Despite the limited market, I think an RS sitting for nearly a year is unusual.

Hmm youre right. Not really particular on that car i just thought for 90k at 26k is lower than other ti pkg ive seen around the market. Im just wondering whats the lowest mile of 08 titanium package i can get under 30s. Thanks for the input

Looks like it's failed Inspection twice and doesn't show that it ever passed even after another O2 sensor replacement. Based on the Carfax it doesn't sound like its ever had a Carbon clean as that entry if done at a dealer states induction service...so there's a good chance it will need that done along with a breather hose, injector cleaning, maybe new plugs and coils.

DRC report isn't on the Carfax either.

I went and checked this car out in person about a month ago. The dealership has about $2k+ in "hidden fees" from reading dealership reviews, but they do have a really good inventory of high performance cars including alot of evos. The coolant was really low when I went, slight curb rash on all wheels, tire gouge on front passenger tire, glove box hinge broken, lower front passenger seat had some repair, about a 6in crack in the windshield at driver eye level, and a couple rock chips on the hood/bumper. The body looked really clean, but I still walked away from it

That car is priced in line with the market, maybe even a little high. It needs work, has some issues, and has 96k miles.

Low miles are important, but more important is finding a car with maintenance records and essential services completed. You could buy this car for $26k and sink $4-5k into it easily with any parts replacements, carbon clean, new tires or brakes, etc.

Shameless plug, mine is for sale for just a few grand more than this one and is in considerably better shape (IMO).

Yeah, not sure why that car hasn't sold. Looks like it's dropped over $4.5k in price since originally being listed 181 days ago according to CarGurus (19 total price changes). I see some wheel damage and missing books, but that's all I can tell from the pictures.

I've looked at this car twice. Overall is not in bad shape but they said it was traded with damage to the passenger door area, which they had repaired. When I looked close the bottom edge of the door does not line up correctly. Wheels are in good shape. It has 20mm spacers on it. It drove good, although the shift to 3rd didn't feel as good as other RS4's I've driven. It's probably not a bad deal now considering the mileage. I'm not sure how low they'll go on the price. They said it was traded on a S7.

Here's a quick info:

Black/red recaro seats
1 owner all serviced at audi dealership
85k miles
Calfornia car
Purchased for 29k even

Now my question is the dealer is offering me a warranty (red auto something) for 4 years or 48 months for $3,500.

Is it really worth it? I feel like its too expensive. Any input appreciated. Thanks

Got a nice deal there..
I bought a warranty with mine at 59k miles and actually cashed in on towards the end of it. Basically broke even. You're at a little higher mileage so might be worth seriously thinking about it.
