A4 Avant - Reverse Light Switch

Hey guys. Quick question. If my reverse light switch was broken, would it cause my reverse lights to be always on? I had to pull both bulbs as they are on from the moment I turn on the ignition. Thanks

I would assume yeah. What happens when you throw it in reverse? Do they still stay on?

Sounds like moisture inside the multifunction range switch on a tiptronic. Sometimes due to leaky rear coolant flange.

Yes, when I throw it into reverse they stay on and it is a manual car.
