Saw this at work today, wonder if there is dealer mark up or not.

Having owned an M4, there is nothing they could do to it to merit a $150k price tag!

I believe they were going for well over MSRP when first released, but can be found for MSRP now depending on the market. The factory water injection is an awesome feature. The big unknown is the M4 CS coming out, and how it will compare to the M4 GTS. Depending on how the CS compares, GTS prices will likely be going up or down from current levels.

Agree, looks like an m4 with cheap fast n furious mods. I would have loved this car when I was 12 years old.

Still has no usable traction. My e92 M3 was about at the limit of useable power/torque without AWD for a front engine car.

True, especially in less than ideal conditions/not the track. My e63 m6 liked sliding around in the rain.

Agreed. Don't get me wrong, even with my e92, the steering, suspension, overall chassis responsiveness were magnificent, as was the high revving V8, but if the roads were the slightest bit damp or even if the rear tire pressure wasn't perfect, the rear would be coming out all the time with the traction nanny off, and it I would be bogging down all the time with it on. When conditions were perfect in terms of road and weather, the car was incredibly entertaining to drive, but that, unfortunately, is not reality. And, now, especially with the torque curve of a turbo motor at higher levels of power/torque, AWD is a necessity to put the power down properly.

I personally think the supercharging is a better way to go for forced induction on a front-engine RWD car, as the power and torque curves are more linear and more closely resemble that of a more progressive NA motor where you don't get a big swell of torque like a turbo motor.
