Passenger side axle outter boot has a good size rip and noticeable clicking sound at slow speeds while turning. This is my first axle on the allroad so wondering what my options are for brands and if there's a preference. Thanks

I just did mine about 6 weeks ago. Had both axles off the car, but I bet having them on you could bust this out in no time too. I think I had both sides done in under an hour for the rebuild, then another hour to swap.

Went with raxle and great buying experience. Marty from raxle even sent over tools(hex and tripple sq) so customers wouldn't get hung up on the job!

    Missed this.

Raxles FTW. They only accept OE axles (though sometimes have spares in stock, especially for automatics). It's not cheap, but the warranty is great, they are robust (being rebuilt OE with OEM joints), and their customer service is amazing. They turned my axles around in a single day.

Thanks for the reassurance. Our all road had 74k on the original axle when the boot ripped and started clicking soon after.

Might do the driver side before the summer is over. I wouldn't want to have to do it during the winter months.
