My New to me S4

I've been hunting a S4 for a bit either timing,money or both have prevented me from purchasing one.....but VW bought my jetta back from me and now I have a 2001 S4.

I am mostly a motorcycle guy. All of my limited mechanical skills are in bikes, so this will probably be a catastrophic adventure.

2001 B5 S4 Laser red, 85,000 miles. I jumped on it for 5200$. It's an automatic but I'm not to sad about that. Things can change. My plans are simple I want a daily drivable car, at 400+ bhp. I don't think that is to much to ask for.

I am setting my plan up in stages. The first one is maintenance. The history for this car is shady, I pulled a carfax and it shows quicklube.....and that's about it. So I'm taking it to Audihaus here and getting every thing flushed and changed.
The LCD screen on the cluster resembles a abstract art. It took me 4 hours and MANY threads to find a place that still repairs these. I finally found Speedosolutions it has a couple reviews referring to here.
I'm going to have the tranny looked at and I think I should upgrade (rebuilt stock upgraded) Torque Converter and Valve body

That is my first stage....the others are in Flux as I learn

Also I am a recent transplant to Eugene Oregon, so if anyone is close and has some parts I might want.....things can be accomplished

K04s, Exhaust, Tune, fuel pump and injectors should get you there.

Had my screen repaired by speedosolutions. Went through EBay to purchase just for the buyers protection. It was money WELL spent!

I'm new to the platform too. Just read everything. Google searches for Audi b5 "what your trying to do" and most always comes back to audizine and good YouTube videos. This site is a huge resource and it's all due to the members and regular posters on the B5 board.

Get familiar with the platform quick you'll find yourself fixing something sooner than later!

Yeah red, well I have missed a couple good deals and jumped all over this one, red wouldn't of been my first choice but damnit if Red and Black just go together

Today I learned my wheels I bought for my Jetta fit my S4.

So work I'm doing this weekend
New driver window regulator (not bad but getting close)
Replacement rearview mirror (used) mine has like a heat oval in the center
Fuel door spring (it's just annoying)
And spare key made (just replacement case with key, replace inards and have key cut) keep old key as spare
