Been the biggest fan of the rings since 06 and now the family is growing with another on the way and a 5 year old I thought why not for us. love everthing about the prestige didn't do the luxury package cause wanted black interior , or the air suspension (waiting for maybe KW3 or something really nice to come out). looked at a lot of other suvs but for the price and what you get its hard to beat what Audi brings. Got it maybe a month ago ordered it in OCT

In a small way I did but I do believe it makes it look more tuff but wanted the more class look

I agree, the brush aluminum looks better on white, black optics probably looks best in black. Jmo

My foam gun and dryer arrive tomorrow, but the storm is coming on Friday. So I won't be able to wash until next week. I need to find someplace underground though...

It is strange you couldn't get the black interior with luxury pkg. You ordered in OCT? I ordered in AUG...very strange.

Carrera white with Black Optic would be my choice but you can't go wrong with a Q7 in just about any color

Yes I get the BOP is sweet but was going more for a classy ride I loved all the chrome trim and the grill. And the BOP didn't change anything inside like the older cars.

Beautiful ride man... I just purchased a white q7 and I agree the BOP doesn't really look good on white IMO.

So played with the car today on giving a try with the side markers. There is a crazy bracket Behind the liner and what it looks like there is no way to get the side markers lights off with out taking the bumper off. And that then makes it so you need to reprogram the park sensors . If any one else can chime in I'm for it but I did my best .

Gave the Q today it's first oil change. Yes I'm OCD and still believe on a good first oil change before the required 10k one.

I always did an oil change every 3K with my B7 S4, using Lubro Moly only.

Yeah man, they are in the business of selling cars...so if yours doesn't work well, "there's a new model coming out soon!"

I'm at 2500 miles now, and I don't have a place to do it myself. I may just take it to the stealership to get it done. Do you know what the VW spec number is off the top of your head?

I'm a little too lazy to go to the car and read! Hahaha!!

Some new parts came in Sq7 rear wing which is alot bigger. Just need to wip up some white paint. And going to the flat bottom Sline steering wheel.

Dude, don't you have a matrix led headlights in US? I was pretty sure it's a standard equipment for q7.

The 2011 have a different airbag. But you can get a flat bottom wheel. Check out Alex with europrice

Did you have any luck with the side markers? I have a set of graphite grey markers in the garage that I've tried a couple times now to put on. I get caught by that bracket under the front bumper, just cant figure out how to get past it. Even if I could get the orange markers off, I dont know if I could get the body colored ones to stick correctly. Really don't want to deal with removing the bumper and getting the sensors reprogrammed.

On the side markers the only way to change them is to remove the bumper and that will require to reprogram the park sensors. havnt had time yet

I figured so. Would rather avoid having to take it in just to get the sensors reprogrammed but seems like that's the only option. I wonder if there is a way to do it via VAGCOM.
