In for Pulls of Ultracharged S4 vs Standard Stage 2 cars on pump gas.

Most of the members here run an intake, pulley, and tune....maybe a cat back. And most of us run pump gas.

The next logical step in modifying is to jump to a dual pulley ultracharged car.

Screw dynos. Screw track times.

I want to see some 20mph, 40mph, and 60mph pulls between the car most of us run vs the upgrade we're all considering.

How much harder does it pull?

I want to see a head to head.

Last year when that piece of shit SC upgrade came out there were numbers flying around all over the place. Then if i'm not mistaken one ran 10's....and we got all excited....then we all found out it was Gutted....LOL

THEN...we saw a Stage 3 car vs a GIAC Stage 2 car and the stage 2 car pulled on it...every time. That was...for me...a deciding factor in ever even considering upgrading the SC.

APR claims there are hundreds of orders for the ultracharger. a few members here have already reported installation.

Lets see some head to head pulls so we can really decide if it's worth the upgrade.

Otherwise.....it's just going to be hundreds of pages of back and fourth BS on the internet.

I think the Moderator should stop all this APR hype until they can give better proof then THEIR Dyno results. I'm sure APR pays a good price to say what they want anyway so that's not happening anytime soon.

This is the only thread that should get visibility. I've lost track of all the back and forth in the all the various threads of dyno claims vs. 1/4 times etc.

I will offer my daily driven AWE/GIAC Stage-2 car in the Atlanta area to record some friendly pulls against an APR dual pulley ultracharged car at the local track. Also the GA wannaGOFAST airstrip drag event is coming up if anyone is interested in running a 1/2 mile event.

Whoever gets Ultracharger in NYC and has a 6MT, pm me and we can do some friendly runs for the people of audizine. The only way it would really be more of an apple to apple comparison is if I had a bigger crank pulley as well and at that point the only differentiating factor would be the ultracharger

Best comparison we can do is we do runs now and then after ultra charger same place. Are you 6MT or DSG?

The Ultracharger is a hot topic right now with multiple vendors creating their own respective threads/posts to the subject. If you don't want those threads on the first page, you can simply ask your fellow Audiziners to stop posting on the threads because the vendors are not bumping these threads up.

I am also unsure. Almost ready to believe all the talk about the APR Ultracharger but let see these comparisons... I am in Central SC and would also be willing to compare with my S4 is stage 2 APR with 034 test pipes and intake. Anyone in this area ir Charlotte im Down.
