    Go ahead and order one if you think it will perform or look like this one.

    Mirror switch that I have for sale is genuine Audi, not some Chinese knock off. eBay link is just the switch which won't work in C5 and it comes without trim which is additional $50.

    no its a rubber coating that makes it smooth and luxurious to the touch. oem is always good although 70 is a bit steep. so make him an offer

    Do you guys not understand what this is?
    I have no interest, I prefer the stock look, but this is the newer style knob made to fit (I don't know what OP did) on a C5 switch. Much the same way (and I guess to match) the updated knobs some people like to put on their RNS-Es. There is also a mod to update the headlight switch in a similar fashion.
    Do I want it? No.
    Do I like it? Not really.
    But at least understand what you are talking about before criticizing or posting up a piece of Chinese knock-off garbage that looks nothing like OP's item.
