Gfb DV+ experience with it on Auto Trans?

I don't see much in the way of reviews on AZ especially with automatic cars. What have peoples experience been when using the GFB DV+ on Tiptronic cars? From my experience, it's seems like on the 8 speed B8 cars that the boost is cut or reduced in between shifts and the shifts are nowhere near as fast as the dsg units. Anything that helps restore the boost right after the shift would be of significant benefit.

Well not quiet an Automatic...lol..I just did this on my 2011 B8 with the CVT and stage 1 tune, and I can tell you, that it really helped out with the throttle response and feel when in Drive mode. I have noticed that on manual mode it seems to pic up faster when I do the fake gear change. The car also seems to run smoother. The DV valve that I had in it was only 2 months old at best and maybe 1000 miles, but it felt like it had gotten loose already. More the money its a good mod, and if you have a tune at all, it really seems to help in holding higher boost levels.

I've been driving with a DV+ in my B7 A4 (w/Tip.) for over a year now. The difference was immediately noticeable. I've said this before, but while the DV+ will not increase the amount of power the engine produces, it does allow an expansion of the power band...delivering power quicker than the stock DV is capable of. There are always going to be "butt-dyno" claims with a product like this and not all of them are necessarily unfounded.
