Halogen to Bi-Xenon swap issues B8.5

I just did a halogen to bi-xenon swap in my 2013 b8.5 a5 and used the instructions that came with my kufatec adapter. The lights, led ballast and biexenon ballast are installed.

The the kufatec high beam wires are ran to brown pin 3 and red pin 9, they are pushed in all the way.

    I had a 8K0 907 063 DB onboard power supply and could not code 00 to 26 so I bought a 8K0 907 063 DH highline version

    The following pins were swapped:

Brown pin 12 to red pin 5
Red pin 2 to red pin 4
Red pin 12 to brown pin 4
Brown pin 4 to red pin 12

I have a Hex Can USB VCDS.

I cannot change the following because everytime I try it says error 31 request out of range

    byte 2 to 50
    byte 3 to 91
    byte 14 to 1D
    byte 15 to 0D

Now I am getting fault codes:
    01312 - Powertrain Data Bus
00497 - Sensor for vehicle leveling
    03124 - Terminal 31-3 011 Open
01543 - Parking Aid Warning Chime
01324 - Control Module for AWD.

My headlights are flickering when driving

Also in the Headlight OFF position the passenger led strip is on and the drivers side led strip is OFF, but the drivers side side marker is on.

    1. Any help on what to change to make the flickering go away?
    2. Any ideas how to make the faults go away?
    3. Do I have the pins swapped correctly?
    4. Any ideas how to fix the led strip in the off position(one on and one off?

    Thanks,
    Scott

Your faults must be due to you not coping your original BCM codes. Make sure you copy those and then enter in on your new BCM. Then follow my guide. Have fun!

    AUDI A4 B8.5 Retrofit bi-xenon's.

So I thought that I should share with you all on my experience retrofitting my bi-xenon headlights. after swapping the headlight to bi- xenon, I noticed that my DRL would not stay on or the power intensity would flicker when my switch was at o. after much research I found out that I needed a High-line BCM / J519 unit. I order one from Ebay and installed it. I ran into my second problem, coding! after some research, I found out that the facelift 8.5 models used a different code then the B8.

so once I found out the proper coding, I tried it but it still didn't work correctly. Problem #3, the wiring for the RED and Brown connectors!
I was fortunate to get help from the company I ordered my wiring retrofit and downloaded their manual on retrofitting bi-xenons, this is where I found the correct coding and pin output for the Red and Brown connectors.

now I'm going to save you a lot of time banging your head against the steering wheel and explained the coding and wiring FOR MY AUDI A4.

****please be aware that it in no way am i an expert on this and I claim no responsibility or guarantee that this will work for you. please do your own research for your car****

    1. swap the BCM to Highline.
    2. rewire the connectors to the BCM ( RED and BROWN) connectors
    a. transfer wire pin#12 from brown connector to red connector pin#5
    b. transfer wire pin#2 from red connector and move to pin#4 in the same red connector.
    c. transfer wire pin#12 on red connector to brown connector pin#4
    d. then take wire that was on brown connector pin#4 and transfer it to red connector pin#12.

    3. now you can do your coding.
    BYTE 00 enter 26
    BYTE 02 enter 50
    BYTE 03 enter 91
    BYTE 10 (set bit 6 to 1)
    BYTE 14 enter 1D
    BYTE 15 enter 0D
save this coding then go on to next step
    4. after coding entry and saving it. enter security access -16 and enter 20113. then select adaptation 10 and set channel 03 to 26

    5. your last step should be to go to your dealership and have component protection turned off if it was a used unit.

I hope this helps to anyone who needs it.

I just made that conversión 2 weeks ago, in my Audi A4 Allroad Facelift. I used the STAGEMOTION wires (harness adaptor), and I cutted one of the wires, and another two, I changed the position. (I'm from Spain)

    Oscar,
Thanks for the help, I tried to code as you said but I get a error 31 request out of range. Do you know how to fix or get around this error?
