    widest tire size?

    widest tire size?

    Widest tire depends on wheel width and offset and if you're willing to run negative camber or not

    there is a guy on Vortex on a Golf R that is running a 265!!!!! his other specs are 19x9 and running a 30 profile. He says it rubs just a bit...but I think that's a bit extreme...lol

    19" x 9.5. offset 40.

    youll hit the shock probably and definitely the fenders

    im running 19x10 et35 and my 255's (265 really) almost touch the shock and are on the fenders

    Not that hard to believe when you think about it. The tire likely runs narrower than some of the stickier 265s out there. The tire size he chose is actually a tad shorter than factory, which makes the most difference when it comes to clearing large tires. Add in even a little bit of camber and suddenly clearance becomes very simple.
    Unbeknowst to Speed, Racer-X is actually his older brother who ran away from home years ago...
