Boost went from 20 psi wot to about 15 a while back. I found this boost leak test on a4mods here: http://www.a4mods.com/index.php?page=webcontent/pages/boostleak.html now that is for a b6 1.8t and they said to remove and plug up the pcv return hose but it didnt seem applicable to the b7 2.0t as there didnt seem to be anything there. And so i dont know where to block off the pcv or if I must. Is there something else i should plug up and try again? If not I found the leak coming from the hole that looks like its missing a screw in picture 2. I used a bike compressor limited at 10 psi to test this. The hole you are pointing to is used by a screw to hold the coil pack harness in place. Nothing else, i believe.

I'm worried because there shouldnt really be boost in there right? Could the head gasket be leaking it?

How is air coming out of that hole? Are you positive thats where its coming from? That hole connects to nothing.

I do not think that hole should leak. Do you have any visible oil leak from Valve cover? Also, check the spark plug wells for oil. If there is any leak then you need to change the valve cover gasket. Also, check if your valve cover has any crack or leaking PCV system. Check how much oil is accumulated inside intercooler pipes.
