I'm aware this is a common problem, but I haven't uncovered much with my certain issues.
So I just replaced the cruise control stalk as I diagnosed that to be atleast one of the issues, it didn't fix it so I took the module and re flowed most of the solder points and added some extra where it appeared cracked. Now it works, for all of a second. I can kinda feel the throttle move, and my afr gauge shows the throttle is pressed, but then it quits.
I did a simple vacuum check on the hose and throttle airbag pump thing and didn't find anything obvious. The car doesn't start without the clutch engaged, and the brake lights work so I don't think either of those are at fault. I've heard of people cleaning those switches before? Can you clean the throttle switch? Any ideas are much appreciated, I have a 1,000 mile drive coming up that my calves can't handle without cruise control
