NEED HELP! My Tune2Air unit is chappin' my ARSE!

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Lately this damned Tune2Air, when loading/looking for a known Bluetooth source, times out quickly and immediately launches my CD player instead!!
In order then for me to stream music fr my iPhone, I have to:
    1. Go to 'Settings'
    2. Select 'Bluetooth'
    3. Click on 'tunetoair' and then click 'Disconnect' from the working list.
    4. Immediately load Mixcloud to allow just enough time for it to pair up.
    **talk about one big ol'

This has been ongoing for a month now. Hadn't changed anything so not sure why it's immediately wanting to link with the CD player.

If anyone out there could lend a hand I'd really appreciate the help.

    🤙🏼

Dang, that sounds super annoying. Only problem I've had is mine just not connecting until I restart my phone. So, maybe give the phone restart a shot (though I assume you have)

The radio will automatically start playing a different source of media (CD or SD card) when/if there is a connectivity issue with the BT module. It may be a pairing issue between your phone and the BT module, and not something wrong with radio settings.

First make sure you have the 3000 version, not the 1000 version of the Tune2air. The 3000 fixed connectivity bugs and has more solid pairing. Maybe the Tune2air just failed and you need a new one.

My phone pairs with the Tune2air instantly when I get in the car and stays paired the whole time, regardless if I have FM or CD currently playing. Even stays connected if I have the radio turned off. That way the car recognizes it as a valid media source and I can switch to BT streaming anytime while driving. If I turn off the BT on my phone, or nothing is paired to the Tune2air, the Tune2air won't even show up on the radio as an available or selectable source. It essentially goes dark if nothing is paired to it.

With the car running, turn the radio off and make sure your phone is paired to the Tune2air properly first. Then see if it can be played once you turn the radio back on.
