Gloss black but has been faded, you can paint over it. It does have some cracks in it and broken pieces but you can't really tell. The pictures shown are with the cracks and chipped pieces. Ring/emblem holder is broken due to someone trying to take it. If you want the rings lmk, (plastidipped)
