    Frozen gas door

Been warm past couple days but temps tonight dropped to 15*

Went to the gas station to fill up and couldn't get the gas door open.
I ended up pouring some hot water and driving around a bit to break it loose.

I little annoyed this car is less than a year old to have an issue like that.
Guess audi using cheap ass lube.

    Anyone else experience this?

this has been happening to me since Dec. I just haven't had time to get it sorted.

so yeah it takes an extra couple mins at gas station as i have to use the emergency release (and then hit the gas door with a little force or else it still won't open)

Is the emergency release only in the A6? Because earlier this winter with my A7 I was trying to get to it and couldn't. It was also close to negative 30 so I didn't have the patience for it so just went home and let the garage warm it over night then it opened.

Good to know about the emergency release. I'm going to lube up the hinge, seems like it dries up.
