    ECS RS4 mesh gille question.

Bought this grille from ecs. Can anyone tell me what those mounts are for? I assume parking/drive assist sensors which I don't have. I think I could cut them out, was hoping to hear if anyone had done this already or had tips.

    Nice. Thank you both.

Did either of you wrap your crash bar with vinyl or did you just paint it? Also curious if you put the foam back or left it off.

Nice. Was thinking some rustoleum might do the trick.

Might want to look into using black fine chicken wire and mounting it behind the RS grille, helps reduce the color of the crash bar against the intercooler and protects the intercooler. Some forum member makes them precut, I don't know if he still sells them, but it's not very hard to make and from what I hear, it's not hard to mount either. You just use the holes and screws you we're gonna use but add the mesh this time. For sure paint the crash bar though, looks terrible without it being painted especially with the holes of the RS grille

Where does one find this? Any auto parts store? I've so often called the sensible place to find something and the people act like I'm crazy and the product doesn't even exist. Lol....

I had mine painted black and left the foam on which was also painted black (I had a body shop install) and they recommended I keep the foam on, said it can make a big difference in an accident. They also painted my mirrors black. Going on a year and everything still looks good, I figure worst case I just touch up again.

Not sure what kind of black paint they used on the foam as I know some kinds will literally melt foam. No issues on mine.
