Want signals to stay off until I signal - Ross-tech help in the bay area?

I wanted to get my front corner signal lights to only come on when signalling. I understand that can be programmed with the Ross-Tech program. Does anyone in the SF bay know how to do this? I'd be willing to compensate you for your time. Feel free to call me at 415-939-8988.

For reference, the car in this video doesn't have the corner lights on when the headlights are on. They will flash when it signals though:

Three wires per bulb. One is ground, one is side marker positive, and one is turn signal positive. Clip the wire for side marker positive or depin it from the housing. Done.

Unless there's some reason you want to make it more complicated.

Edit, seeing that you're in California, I wouldn't dare remove the side marker function. It's required by law in some places, and I would bet money that California with all their strict laws is one of those places.

I did exactly what you suggested except I used the wire I clipped for the city light in my e-codes. I live in California and have had no issues, been pulled over too many times to count. I've had it this way going on 6 years.

Thanks for your reply. Will that cause any error lights to come on?

During a vag-com scan, maybe. But during normal everyday driving, no. The bulb out warning is only for your headlight bulbs I believe. Can anyone confirm?

I know you'll get a bulb warning for brake lights, and headlights as stated, not sure about anything else. I don't have fogs and haven't ever gotten a warning about it

Lol. Yeah. I clicked the wrong link to reply to and tried to delete it but not sure if the delete option would delete the whole post!

I took a look but didn't know which wire it was. Do you know how I can identify which wire it is?
