FWD CVT Transmission - any alternative options?

I recently purchased a 2013 A4 FWD with the CVT and I see why everyone has bashed this transmission. I didn't do enough research before I bought the car so now I'm stuck with it. I'm curious if anyone has attempted to convert one of these beasts into a Quattro and what would be required to make it happen. I'm assuming that the transaxle, rear differential, driveshaft, and rear drive axles, and possibly the front ones as well, would all have to be replaced. I suspect the rear suspension may have to be upgraded as well, but I haven't studied the parts lists or service manuals to any great degree yet.

Is there a transmission control module that would have to be replaced? What about the traction control system? Any other systems that would have to be upgraded or replaced? Is it even possible to do the upgrade? My son has a good friend who's family owns a chain of auto salvage yards so I have access to a large inventory of used parts at a reasonable cost. I figure if I can find a B8.5 A4 that's been totaled I might be able to get the entire setup without breaking the bank.

Part numbers and model numbers would be a huge help. TIA

just sell it and get AWD. Im not sure on the B8 but B5 the chassis are different. I would assume the same on B8 or anycar with a FWD / AWD option

This. Unless you're really attached to the car (which it doesnt sound like) you're better off just selling and buying a quattro.

Thanks. I didn't realize the chassis was different. I actually do like the car. I'm just not all that thrilled with the transmission in it's current state. I'm hoping the dealer can either tweak it or replace it under warranty. I've only had the car for about a month so I'm not quite ready to get rid of it yet. It costs too much to register cars in Maryland to keep changing cars.

Clearly, the 2.0T FWD with the CVT cannot be converted to a Quattro, but what other transmission options are available for the FWD model? I know Audi only offers the CVT for this version, but is the same CVT transmission used in the 2.0T FWD VW's? Would it be possible to use the Quattro transmission and leave it in a FWD configuration by not attaching the driveshaft to the rear? I'm just trying to see if there are any other options available short of replacing the entire car.

My main concern with the CVT transmission is that it tends to slip when I first start out. I'll give it gas and the engine will rev, but the transmission doesn't always engage right away. When it does, the car lunges forward and the tires can spin. This is very disconcerting when I need to move into traffic quickly. The momentary hesitation can be an extreme safety hazard. It's still under warranty so I intend to take it to my local Audi dealer and have them see if there's anything they can do. I don't know if there's something they can adjust to correct the problem. If not, then I'm going to ask that they replace the transmission.
