Anyone converted their twin 2 exhaust to a twin 1?

Reason I ask is because I have an XS power twin 2 but would like a little more noise.

Take it to a local Meineke or muffler shop and have them cut out the rear muffler. Should cost like $50-75

I think the twin 2 is perfect and you may regret taking off that second muffler man. It has a nice mellow tone when cruising and roars when you open it up. Isn't obnoxious when cruising on the highway with any drone either with catless DP's which is great. But, if you like drone and 24/7 noisy exhaust then go for it! I must be getting old lol

nah I feel you man. I had an ASP TruDual with open 3" DPs and it was hearing-damage-worthy (because I have it) at highway speed. Went to the Twin2 to get the best of both worlds. Tunnel blasting, and saving my ears from 103dB in-cabin (with ASP on my setup).

Remember, you might not be able to hear it, but I assure you that everyone else can with a Twin2.

OP, If you decide to do it, delete the rear muffler/resonator, will keep cabin drone down (more so than if you were to delete the mid).

i think it really depends on the turbos you have.
from what i've seen k03 cars seem to be much louder than their k04 / larger turbo counterparts.

^this. I've noticed my new setup with K24s is a bit more muffled than my K04s. Exhaust is the exact same setup in both scenarios.

I run a Twin1 with Catless AWEs. I like it nice and loud. Minimal drone surprisingly. I enjoy setting car alarms off with it too. But I'm also very young and immature lol.
