Can't recall if I asked this anywhere else but have you or do you plan to test these on an A4 Allroad?

Most of the suspension part numbers are the same between the Allroad and Non-Sport A4, so the specs on the lowering springs will be the same. We do hope to have a local car stop by for photos and measurements though.

    Repost from Audi / Rings:

Some feedback on the eMMOTION lowering springs installed yesterday.

The drive back was about 25 miles, which consisted of light to light traffic, aggressive parkway entrance and exit, and going through a work zone (uneven, spotty roads with some pot holes), basically daily commuting condition in suburban New York.

Ride height - much of the factory non-sport suspension gap is eliminated, probably an inch of gap left and would wait until it's settled to really give a verdict. The drop so far is ideal for my daily needs and I used to have a slammed sedan.

Ride Quality - I think they nailed it when they said the ride quality isn't compromised and kept as close to stock. It felt close stock going over bumps, potholes and any other abnormalities the road had. A bit stiffer, but in a good way where you feel more planted at higher speeds and less body roll during aggressive driving.

Product Quality - not much I can comment on this, I received the package and everything was packed nicely, 2 front springs with front bump stops and 2 rear springs. Even came with a bottle opener (kudos!) and lanyard!

Customer Service - there was a little bit of a hiccup when receiving the package (thanks FedEx!) but I emailed Emmanuel Design to keep them in the loop and they were quick to respond. So far no issues, but I'm confident Thomas will do right with its customers.

Overall, the springs definitely changed the vehicle dynamic in a positive way while retaining OEM feel. Basically an OEM+ upgrade and hopefully after a week or so, much of the positive will remain.

Unfortunately with the winter storm, I won't be able to log any spirited/aggressive driving until the roads are clear.

    Repost from jorgecopa:

"I finally had my EmmanueleDesign lowering springs installed. I'm amazingly happy with the ride quality and drop. The ride quality is very close to stock with very little change but the handling is much better. I'm not having any type of vibration or misalignment issues so far but probably get the alignment done anyways. EmmanueleDesign delivered on their promise to keep the ride quality intact and they succeeded.

I had this negative thing that it was going to look slammed and that the ride quality was going to suffer but I was completely wrong. I will post pictures later on today."

    Thanks for the kind words!

This may seem like a silly question, however, I am a noob, so bare with me.
The included bump stops in the kit replace the stock bump stops, so there should be no need to trim the bump stops?
Looking into grabbing the stage 1 kit within the next few weeks. =D

The front bump stops will not require trimming, as they are replaced with the included units. We do recommend trimming the rear bump stops.

What would be the suggested amount to be trimmed for the rear?

On the non-sport, we recommend trimming 1.0 - 1.2" off the rear with our lowering springs.

    Repost from BiscuitEmbryo:

"I got the Emmanuelle springs and sway bar installed yesterday and I love it. The ride is maybe very slightly firmer, but not so much that it bothers me. It really is very close to stock.

The sway bar, however, has made a huge difference. Body roll is dramatically reduced, especially in long, sweeping turns (like on an exit ramp). Overall the suspension feels much tighter."

I'm just curious to understand how can the ride quality be very close to stock when it sits 1 inch lower and the spring rate is stiffer?

I'm on the fence of buying but afraid of potholes and general rough roads in Canada.

Hi. I will share you my personal opinion.
I recently installed them, tried for 4 days, they definitely accomplish the lowering purpose without a problem, they will low more in a couple weeks.
Mine don’t come with the front shocks, I had to cut them as EMD gently explained to me.
Well, I live in Mexico and we have horrrible streets, but many in optimal condition. Having that said, the OEM springs experience was very soft but a bit bouncy as well, the EMD springs on rough streets is very nice, but a bit noise in the left bottom on rough streets, just a bit more stiff but as good as the original. Passing through potholes feels pretty much the same. The rear part yes is a bit bouncier, not noticeable if you don’t “fly” through bumps. You gotta be a lil bit more careful cause a more sporty suspension mod.
I would say is worth it. Is not that noticeable1529022044656.jpeg

For those that have installed the springs and/or sway bar, what did labor look like for them (hours/cost)? Thanks!

Bump because I have the same question.

Also one more: is an alignment necessary for an S4 with adaptive suspension?

Just installed my emd springs and everything is as advertised. The only thing ive noticed is a ever so slight reverse rake in fender to wheel gap. Ive only drove about 20-30 miles so far so they may settle and even out, but has anyone else experienced this? I have the b9 a4 with sport suspension

My post was probably a little premature lol ive already noticed the front lowering to even out, just needed time to settle. Love these springs as far as drop and comfort they’re exactly what i was looking for. I will be getting the rear sway bar when they’re back in stock. Thanks EMD

I'm a total noob so feel free to correct me. I am looking to lower my A4 b9 with sport suspension with a build date of 09/2016. I have heard the front struts are different sizes depending on the build date. Would you recommend trimming the front struts on sport suspension or is it only recommended on the factory base suspension?

If they do need to be trimmed, how do I figure out how much for the front and rear?
