D4 S8 Carbon Fiber Engine Cover

Hey folks!! I'm usually on the B8 side of the site but wanted to share a project I've been working on for a buddy of mine. I got into composites making custom cubby boxes for the B8's and wanted to switch over to carbon fiber. Here a couple shots of the project

He didn't want the middle detail and it would have been quite cumbersome to fit so I reshaped the top like so


And here are some in progress pics

Thanks folks! I had some issues with the working conditions on the first one so I started fresh and changed the design a touch to remove the center channe (It was a beast to work with). It'll get installed next week, but she's all done. I snapped a couple pics just before some finishing of the edges, but this is how she looks.

I don't have any planned in the pipeline. These take a great deal of time to make so someone would need to seek me out to make another.
