2017 Audi A7 Apple Carplay Updates

Hi,

I just picked up my new A7 S-line Black Optic Pkge, and was wondering if they release any updates for Carplay OTA or through the iphone. Also would the Tune2Air adapter work for communications via bluetooth so I dont have to plug in my phone every time. Why is that I cant open NBA or MLB app?

Hi,

The updates for CarPlay features and functions are provided when you update your Apple devices software. As an example when iOS 10.3 is launched it will provide a new quick launch app that displays the last 3 used apps above the on-screen home button (so you no longer have to go back to the home screen to switch apps). As far as I am aware you will still need to connect the device via cable.
