Deleting tpms and magnaride via vag-com

I spent a lot of time looking for how to do away with tpms and in the process found how to do away with magnaride for my coilover install. I actually used obd11, but vag-com should work the same.

Go to instruments(17), go to coding, and subtract 16 for tpms, 64 for magnaride, or/and 32 for add from the first four digits of the code.

    My code was 0113208, so 0113 - 16(for tpms) -64(magnaride) = 0033

So the code I used was 0033208

No more reason to buy the $400 KW Electronic Dampening Cancellation Kit

You'll need to pull the fuse for the TPMS. You'll get an error as the CAN BUS still sees the module. ( I have mine deleted as well)

I don't think there is a way to delete the mag ride without getting errors. Is your scan completely clean of errors afterwards?

Yea I get an error in the tpms module and and an error in my magride module. But that's not a big deal. I get a error in my radio module for not having an active Sirius account.

Which I would like to figure out how to delete tpms/magride/Sirius from the car entirely so I don't get those errors. But, I haven't had a lot of time to dig into it yet.

The biggest thing is a didn't get a big flashing light/beep on my dash about that stuff.

This is not apples to oranges. The AFS headlamps are looking for data via canbus from the magride module. The magride module is wired directly to all four sensors on each corner. This is to trim the Xenon headlamps up and down. This lends to think some wiring needs to be done. I've compared AFS equipped TT's without magride to AFS to non magride. There are differences.

That is correct on an AFS car there is a bit more to it. The gateway needs a bit of coding I'm not 100% sure obd11 can do, and module 55 will also need to be changed. And then then there would be a bit of wiring on top of this

I'm waiting on a Bentley manual/wiring diagram to confirm the wiring part

I will post a diy once I do everything and have tested it thoroughly.
