Yeah I got one for my s6 it's fantastic. I've done a few blogs on here and posted on my YouTube channel. If I could summarise revo in one sentence it would probably be 'Tons more useable power with OEM delivery and reliability'. Sorry bit dull but there software is awesome. Do it

I had Revo on my S4 and have nothing bad to say about it, was it the fastest out there, no, but it was fast and was very reliable with no quirks or problems whatsoever. I'm in the same boat as you where I'm looking to get software on my RS7. My concern with Revo would be that I found no information about real world performance from anyone. I'd guess that's because the RS is a very limited production vehicle and those who own one, and are tuning it, go the more traveled road which is APR- and that's totally understandable because of how expensive our cars are. If I was you I'd want to seem some track or dyno info on Revo before I'd consider using it in my RS.

where in MD are you? I'm in Northwestern VA in Winchester- I head up to Mason Dixon a few times a year (including this Saturday) if you ever want to meet up.

I've seen no results from GIAC for the RS, maybe on the 3.0TFSI engines GIAC is better but on the TT4.0 I've not seen a single time slip from them.

not really for the RS, APR has the market pretty well locked from a performance standpoint- Unitronic is in there as well but for now their numbers don't match up with APR, at least from the 1/4 perspective. I've yet to see any track data from GIAC or Revo.

I have Revo stage one. I decided to go this way because friend of mine is a dealer of it. I did not regret it for a second. I guess it's comparable with apr. I have only S6 however the acceleration is brutal 0-60 between 3.3 to 3.5 (3.15 0-60 was the best so far). Fuel consumption.. (probably no one cares). I did not check 1/4 miles which I going to do this spring. The only minus that Revo has is that They don't do stage 2 or 3.

I'm not the OP and you didn't give me an option- I'm not trying to start an argument but you said GIAC was "much better"
and that's just not a proven statement on the RS - for the B8/B8.5 it certainly is though.

As far as I know from my experience GIAC tuned my car with live mapping where as Revo software is just plug and upload through OBD

They do have stage 2, I'd be interested to hear peoples thoughts that have tried.

I just don't really see the point, it goes so well with just stage 1 I'm very happy and I can confirm 100% when flashed back to stock no TD1.

Mid range and top end power is increased with stage 2 over stage 1. Freeway passing power is a little more exciting

I have a Cete Active Suspension Control Module and my wheels are 20x10 ET25 with OE size 275/35 Michelin PSS tires.

I looked at Revo for my S7, and as of now, I still don't have a tune. :) I have heard amazingly good things about them as a company and a product, but they lack a DSG tune for my car. The lack of DSG tune gave me pause, and I am still paused.

We have done plenty of Revo software upgrades for the 4.0tt S6, S7, and RS7. These cars are pretty popular in our part of Southern California.

any track results from them? reason I ask is my personal Revo experience was good but I've seen little to nothing about Revo's track performance on any C7/7.5 cars.

There aren't really any "good" drag strips in Southern California if that is what you are referring to as far as tracks go. If we have any clients head out any time soon, I can report back!
