I have a 2014 A4 base model with the TYC non-LED DRL lights.

What would it take to convert to the LED DRL headlamps?
Is it as simple as buying the headlamps assembly from ebay, and plug n' play?

Below is what i currently have.
    Someone please help!

If you just want LED bulbs in that housing you just need to buy canbus LED bulbs.

The size you want for DRLs in that housing is P13W. Just go to amazon and type in “P13W LED Error Free” make sure to double check reviews and that the ones you are finding are error free.

Take your headlight housings off of your car by unplugging the headlight and removing the 5 size T27 (i think that’s the size) bolts and pulling off the 1 plastic tube on the inside keeping it attached (this will be on the side closest to the grill for either side) you should be able to do this without bumper removal or removing any other piece, just be careful not to scrape your headlight lens on the body of your fender panel, it will scratch the lens noticeably. Once removed just take off the outer of the 2 plastic circular covers, you will find that there is a funnel looking tubes you should be able to spin this inward (think counterclockwise if working on the passenger side housing) slide the tube off the plastic track and pull it out. Remove the bulb, place your new bulb, reverse steps to reinstall.

If your question is to swap for the housing with the factory HID then you should just need the correct housings, the bulbs and you will require HID ballasts.

Many of the headlight assemblies on eBay will not have the bulbs and ballasts. Ensure that you find the ones with these and it should be an easy swap to there to my knowledge
