    Cat/Test pipe differences to 3.0T A6 C6

Hi all, hoping you can help me out on a car I struggle to find lots of info with.

Can the test pipes made for the S4 fit the A6 C6 3.0T? If not, what's the cause?

I have an internal rattle from the o/s cat or first silencer and I'm already a stage 1+ so was looking to decat but it's all one piece

Here is the A6 diagram - as you can see it's all one piece to roughly halfway down the car (parts 1 and 2)

Here's the S4 - now it's in two pieces (parts 1 and 15) but the general shape does not seem too dissimilar.

Have seen a rumour that the A6 3.2 downpipes would fit but not too sure, any thoughts, pointers, advice would be greatly appreciated!

I believe there is a fine fellow in the classified section selling test pipes for $400, if you are looking for a set. Got mine from him and they are great so far.

I had the cats and downpipes from a 2012 a7 3.0T on my s4 for awhile..
It's the back section of the exhaust that's different.
Even the 3.2 manifold's bolt up to our engines and our cats.
    They are not same, Audi A6 C6 (4F) have different exhaust than A6 C7 (4G) / S4 B8. A6 C7 and S4 B8 cat have different mounting angle to manifold's.
A6 C6 2.8/3.0/3.2 have same shape downpipes. Actually I have now place 2.8 downpipes with cats for inspection. Cats are somehow different, because now I have "soft" error code, second lambda too slow.
I have also searching decat downpipes for mine A6 C6 3.0T, but not find yet. Now I tried to find new option, because already break down 2-pairs metal cats placed in original place. I think they are not holding down extreme temperature off stage 1+
Now it looks like that only option is manufacture downpipes and relocation cats to new place under car.
I have also rattle in 1200-1300rpm and it was even harder when my left cat was broken. Also flexible joint seems to break down when older.

The mainfolds I bought from ebay were listed as 2008 a6 3.2L
If that's what I got idn very well could be from 3.2 a5

I also have a rattle and the flexi pipes are on the way out. Aftermarket options seem a nightmare to find and forget going to a dealer, the prices are ridiculous
