Hey guys. Starting yesterday my 2012 a4 started acting up. Steering is very stiff as if I'm driving 50 mpg when I'm barely going 5 mph. Has anyone had this problem? Please let me know what it might be an what the solution is. TIA

I have had this VERY issue. It felt like power steering was cutting out almost, totally at random. Turns out there is a universal joint down low in the steering column that is very exposed, especially if you no longer have your belly pan (like me) and this joint can attract a build up of rust and corrosion. Cleaned it up nice and it was like I had just put a new power steering pump in car.

I had this same issue as well, it will seem to bind at spots during the rotation of the steering wheel, at other spots it is more normal.
