Yes I read about all that, and some very good points! But, what do you think about the following,
If I go with Eilte, they have connections with the Audi dealers, so if there is a Warranty issue, they will make sure to help as much as possible to make sure things will go smoothly with much less chance of getting the warranty denied.
I don't know if this is true, and if I should consider this? One good thing going for us is that it seems from what I read about the B8 platform is that the reliability of these cars is one of the best Audi ever made, and it seems as this 3.0T engine has plenty of safety margin. This is unlike the 2009 STI I had were they had ring land issues, but regardless I went stage 2 at 1000miles. Had it protune and paid more for the same reasons.
What do think, am I overlooking something? It is a very expensive upgrade, and it would be nice to save money. But trying to look at the big picture.
I can do all the work myself if I need to, I did a stage 3 myself on 2000 SAAB Aero I had, DP, full exhaust and a ECU swap. But when under warranty on such an expensive car, it is scary!
