3.5 Gallon of E85 - Pump GIAC File 93/Mix Comparo

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Holds 21 degrees of timing up top, zero knock. 93 timing curve with knock for comparison. I can really feel the difference up top. GIAC Stage 2, AWE S/C Pulley, ECS Intake, Ported + Polished TB, AWE Cold Front, Cat Back

Boost, Bleed, and timing for E85 Addition log. Its hitting 18.2 psi up top. Boost is actually exceeding requested some places down low, causing the bleed to have higher duty. I realize that is not the actual AFR with the mix, I just multiplied lambda by the gas scale as its easy to visualize on the graph.

Yeah, same as me. Running e85 fixes their timing issue but the odd boost curve remains.

It worried me since I was running 93 octane as we dont have much e85 around here. I got the GIAC file in hopes to try their dual pulley tune when it comes out and then I learned that two of the big beta testers were both pretty much beta testing e85 90% of the time (please correct me if I'm wrong fellas). This was making sense when I looked at the logs because it didnt seem right for 93 octane at all. I decided to just get a refund because file changes can take time and I didnt want to be stuck with something that doesnt work for me. GIAC was really cool about it though and very professional throughout the process.

I'd just like to say that for the record, I hate you guys at lower elevations. I had to go DP just to hit 18psi. With that said. Good logs.

no E85 around here so sorry if this is a dumb question, but why wouldn't you use the race file?
when i was around E85, GIAC said i could run the race file with about 5 gallons of e85

I put 3 gallons of E70 (winterized E85) in a few days ago and I really liked how it pulled up top!
