my cluster lcd display only shows speedometer now

The LCD Display between the analog speedometer and rpm meter seems stuck after the dealer did a software update due to a recall. when i tab through the mode button on the steering wheel the only option i get is the speedometer, other than radio menu and phone menu. Before i took it it i had a mpg mode, so it seems like something is stuck is a maintenance mode or something. or maybe they just broke something. has anyone seen something like this before? is there a quick fix, or do i need to take it back to the dealer? btw this is on a 2013 S4

    Any help/info is appreciated.

You might try posting this on a B8 forum. Unless yours is a B9 (hey, what the heck do I know, mine's a B6)!!
