    Flex pipe removal help

    Waiting on a new flex pipe from EuropaParts to arrive. What is the best way to remove it? I have a TIP, is it possible to pull the cat & down pipe through the engine bay? Or easiest to pull it from below?

    Depends on the condition of the hardware connecting the downpipe to the cat, mine was severely rusted so I just removed the cat/downpipe from the top, super easy.

    how do you guys reach that one inner turbo flange nut? I have the same problem, tip with busted flex pipe but I'm putting a test pipe in at the same time so I'm removing the cat too

    Easiest way is to remove your axel shield (three allen bolts) and reach your arm through with an extension (it also alows you to see it)

    Make sure you remove the upper heat shield (three torx) Gives you a little more room.

    Also, save yourself by just cutting the hanger bracket...it is litterally impossible to get out the flex & cat without doing. Believe me after busted up hands and lots of cursing

    Wishing I would have just picked up a test pipe, such a PITA getting the cat & flex back through the bay. Had to bend the support bracket to make it through, then bend it back. Now trying to get the bracket lined up and mounted with litterally no space.

    Got to love the TIP engine
