    Bilstein B12 Kit Reviews?

I'm deciding between ST Coilovers and the B12 kit. Both get a lot of recommendations in suspension threads like this but I searched and couldn't find many actual reviews of the B12 kit. How many people are running these? Anyone have pics of it installed on their cars? They list the same 30mm lowering in the front as the rear and I'm thinking that might look weird. I think the front needs to lower more than the rear for it to look right in my mind.

another member posted this link in another thread. Seems like a great deal $588 shipped

I did see that but was hoping for someone with a b7. Ride quality comparisons between b7 and b8 are going to be similar but idk about ride height ftg's

This kit is proving to be elusive to find feedback on the b6/b7 chassis. I'm sitting here searching and just not much to go through. The B8 is different in how it drives in many ways so I don't rely on those reviews either.

I have a b6 and have pretty much decided on this kit. It generally seems that it is an upgrade from oem sport suspension more geared towards comfort and performance. I'm sort of looking at it as oem sport plus. I don't want a drop much more than I have now on stock sports and would want to keep the ride in line with how my suspension was when new. I'm a few months out from doing a suspension refresh but when I do, expect a comprehensive review in the B6 forum!

we're definitely in the same boat. I'm not looking for a big drop at all. I want a comfortable ride but I'm just concerned the car won't look right with an even amount of lowering in the front and rear. I'm on stock non sport suspension and the front is way up

I'd imagine engine/front end weight would cause the front to lower a bit more but I have seen many b6 cars with reverse rake on spring/shock set ups. Mainly H&R/Bilstein combos. A lot of people solved that issue by using B5 front spring perches to effectively let the front springs sit further down on the struts, giving a bit of forward rake. In my car with oem sport suspension I've always had a slight forward rake so I feel the same way on a dead even drop. I'd hate to lose an aggressive forward stance.
