I was wondering if anyone else has heard that Audi will be releasing for sale, all the NEW, unsold, 2015/2016 TDI vehicles that were pulled from sales because of the emissions issue.

I ask because when a friend was shopping today for a used Q7, a salesman said that NEW 2015's may be available within the next month. He said AoA has not confirmed a release date, but that this particular dealership had over 50 new 2015 TDI Q7's in storage. He expected some serious discounts to be put on these to move the inventory. Anyone with first had knowledge?

They are already on some dealers lots at full MSRP. I have seen a few in the Atlanta area.

    NEW 2015 Q7 TDI info???

These TDI's may well become a bit of a collector's item, but I do have to say, any buyer who isn't dead set on "needing" this TDI engine would look at the 2017 3.0T side by side with the 2015 TDI, and test drive the two, wouldn't flinch at jumping into the 2017 at the same price, or even a comfortably higher price. I've spent a few days now going back and forth between my '14 TDI and '17 3.0T and aside from the amazing engine and torque, it's like going from a 2010 A4 to a 2015 A8. These new Q7's are such a huge step up in luxury it's phenomenal.

Point being, I'd be very curious to see what type of discount the 2015's TDI's get. I assume a lot has to do with how many the dealer has sitting around and needs to move.
