Hey guys, I put a hole in my B7 A4 tranny pan and was wondering if it's possible to weld the hole? I believe the pan is cast aluminum.

Probably but you would always be wondering if the weld will hold. You will have to remove the pan anyway, so if cost is a factor look for one at a junk yard.
Can you post a pic of the hole?

    lol.

To OP, pan is super thin and not with the headache. Just get a new/used pan.

Thanks for the reply guys. I've found a local transmission shop that can replace the pan, gasket, fluid and filter for pretty cheap.
