10.5-11.0 compression ratio? BAT SETUP anybody running higher compression than 10.0?

I know most people are at 8.5 - 9.5 compression ratio. I think I have only ever seen two or three people that are either 1.8 or bored and stroked 2.0 that have ran a 10.0 compression ratio. I have been thinking about changing out my pistons and putting higher compression ratio Pistons. I was thinking at least 11.0?? of course I would have all of the supporting mods and a good tune which I was thinking about Maestro 7 suite (custom tune)

Who has a higher compression ratio 10.0 or higher

I found this thread where 10.0 CR was used. I would use 10.0cr pistons! I would like a little higher like 10.5-11.0!! I don't know of anyone that has ever built a 1.8-2.0 20V turbo engine with any compression ratio over 10.0... I would love a 11.0cr pistons with 20+ psi. And if I blow the motor I will have a spare engine! I have a fully built 2.0 w 8.5cr pistons. I also have a separate engine that I am building as a spare engine. I would love to put at minimum 10.0 and Max 11.0 compression ratio pistons!
Does anyone know where I can get these pistons?

    Any thoughts on these?
Can anyone tell me where I can find some 11.0 CR pistons 83mm while using 92.8mm crankshaft for 2.0, 20v?
    Thanks

I imagine your maximum power potential will go down, but your torque-curve should be flatter. Fuel quality will also become more critical.

    Do it and report back!

If you have fuel to support higher compression ratios, above 8 to 1 or so expect to get a 3% increase in power for each point of compression ratio. A wag is on a 400 HP setup with a 1 point CR increase you will see 12 hp. If you don't have a high enough octane level to support the higher CR, you will have to drop your boost or buy new rear tires as you run over your connecting rods and piston shards.

A higher CR only helps max power if you lower your boost or have a fuel to support the higher peak combustion pressures ( stay out of detonation).

Lots of the high-compression 1.8T pistons advertised are for NA engines but there are some 10:1’s around... I plan to use Arias Pistons when the time comes - they’ll make whatever you want. Mahle would be ideal but they’re pricey - INA or IE will custom order those for you. I’m pretty sure Arnold at Pag has been selling high-compression CP’s.

    Alec’s TT on Vortex... 2ltr bored and stroked. E85, HX35W, 10.3:1 compression, 9K rpm
Mike from Stevebilt was and maybe still is running a 10:1 stroker 1/4 mile engine
Vegeta Gti on Vortex is building a high-compression stoker...

That’s all I can think of off the top of my head but you can run a well planned w/m injection system to alleviate most of the detonation worries with high compression and high boost. Something I plan to do as well is head and deck cooling - something like this...

    Bydon Engineering...
